Cavatina – Giovanni Marradi

Η «Cavatina» είναι μια σύνθεση του 1970, η οποία ήταν το μουσικό θέμα της κινηματογραφικής ταινία του Μάικλ Τσιμίνο The Deer Hunter (Ο Ελαφοκυνηγός, 1978). Είναι άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένη με την κλασική κιθάρα, αφού στην ταινία, την ερμήνευσε ο γνωστός κιθαρίστας, Τζον Γουίλιαμς.

Το «Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief» αποτελεί το μεγαλύτερο στην ιστορία τηλεμαραθώνιο σε επίπεδο μετάδοσής του από διαφορετικά Μέσα παγκοσμίως. Μπράβο στο MTV International και στους επώνυμους τραγουδιστές που συμμετείχαν σ’ αυτόν τον ζωντανό τηλεμαραθώνιο το χώρο του κινηματογράφου, της τηλεόρασης και της μουσικής και στους 100 καλλιτέχνες που σήκωναν τα τηλέφωνα για τις δωρεές και ενθαρρύνοντας το κοινό να συμμετάσχει σ’ αυτόν τον σπουδαίο τηλεμαραθώνιο. Μακάρι να τους μιμηθούμε και στην Ελλάδα!
