Η Αγάπη είναι το μυστικό…

Some of you young folks been saying to me, Hey Pops, what’d you mean «What a Wonderful World«? How about all them wars all over the place? You call them wonderful? Hm? And how about hunger and pollution? They ain’t so wonderful either. Well how ’bout listening to old Pops for a minute.  Seems to me it ain’t the world that’s so bad, but what we’re doing to it… 

And all I’m saying is, see what a wonderful world it would be if only we’d give it a chance. Love baby, love. Love, that’s the secret….yeah. If lots more of us loved each other, we’d solve lots more problems. And then this world would be better. That’s what old Pops keeps saying.

Y.Γ. Προτίμησα να σας βάλω το ορχηστρικό κομμάτι, αρχικά επειδή στο sidebar υπάρχει ήδη το βίντεο με την ανεπανάληπτη ερμηνεία του Louis Armstrong, αλλά και γιατί αυτό έχει ένα κοχύλι! Κοχυλένια φιλιά!

Περί ευτυχίας ο λόγος

Θέλω να παίζω με τα λευκά μου τα κοχύλια,

να πλατσουρίζω ανέμελα ανάμεσα στα κύματα 

και ν’ αφήνομαι να με παίρνουνε μαζί τους.

Να ταξιδεύω στο βυθό της θάλασσας

Letting Go

          To let go doesn’t mean to stop caring;

It means I can’t do it for someone else.

To let go is not to cut myself off…

It’s the realization that I can’t control another…

but to allow learning from natural consequences.
